News of Creflo Dollar’s support for Bishop Eddie Long swept through the internet today, as Dollar addressed his ministry on the issue. The sermon was captured on tape. In the video Creflo Dollar says Long “Is still anointed to do what he is supposed to do.”
Dollar repeatedly referred to the scandal as a wreck, reasoning with the listeners that we all have wrecks. Later he said, “I pray that I don’t have a wreck and you leave me, cause I’ll get up in your face… Forget you then.”
Dollar said that Eddie Long is “STILL saved!” and STILL going to heaven!” As for the wreck Dollar says that Bishop Eddie Long has insurance, and so do we all. Dollar rationalized that the insurance we all have as believers is Jesus Christ.
He also told former New Birth church members the following: “If you from that church that you know what I’m talkin’ bout and you tryin’ to join here? I don’t want you here! That is my friend! That is my brother in The Lord! And if you came from there, you get on back over there where you s’posed to be and do what you s’posed to be doin’!”
Do you agree with Creflo Dollar as a whole? Are members justified in leaving the church? Should Bishop Eddie Long step down?

Just because scandal arises does not mean you’re guilty of that scandal. If God calls you to a ministry does he change his mind because issues arise?

Pastor Dollar is right on point. Although I don’t agree w/ Bishop Long not fighting to “prove his innocence,” he is still a child of GOD and my brother in the LORD. GOD can and will restore him. Like pastor Dollar said, it’s a “wreck!” Thank GOD for the insurance we have in the blood of JESUS!

Are you serious? Yes we all sin, but if you don’t repent and keep lying and deceiving your sheep, then how can you still call that men annointed and why should they stay at his church. This man is so arrogant, that he has not once apologized to his members. He used their hard earned tithes and offerings, to go tricking on these young men and now he is going to use the tithes of whoever is left of his flock, to pay hush money so the details of his sins won’t come out. That does not sound like the man God has chosen to lead his flock. Creflo shouldn’t be trying to condemn those members who left Eddie Long, he should be praying that those members find God rather its back at New Birth or somewhere else. If Eddie is his brother, then he need to be praying for his brother that he gets back on the path. Yeah but Creflo is a fraud. Frauds of a feather flock together

Kudos, to Dr. Dollar for such words of WISDOM! OMG if everyone, especially leaders had the same spirit and would cover one another in LOVE, the Body of Christ would be soooooooooo much more POWERFUL! This brought tears to my eyes and I had to re-read it to make sure I was reading correctly. One thing about this wreck or any wreck that we may experience in this life, God is & will always be aware of it before it becomes public!! He loves us & he knows our weaknesses both “great & small!” I’ve always loved Dr. Dollar’s Ministry but I have MAD LOVE for his ministry now! Thank you Jesus for someone in leadership taking a STAND FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS! BTW, none of us have made it to Heaven yet so we have to be extremely careful that we to don’t fall into TEMPTATION!! Bishop Long or Dollar are God. The bully tactic by Dollar is unjustified in dealing with these people who are obviously hurt by a so-called spiritual leader’s indiscretions. He has never asked for repentance or admitted to anything. So, we are left at the state of not being able to forgive him because he arrogantly went on about his business w/o any regards for his people. In short, I feel like he should have taken a moratorium for a time, and should step down. Creflo Dollar is acting as if he also has no regard for the people also. What about accountability?

Yes, “all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God”, but “shall we continue in sin that grace may abound; God forbid”. There are no gray areas in christiandom. It’s either right or wrong; holiness or hell. The word also says “warning comes before destruction”, so now the question; was there a warning to stop before the exposure came?
