YUP, pregnant out of wedlock and all. Great example to young ladies that it’s ok to have sex outside of marriage and still be “anointed” to sing songs of Zion in the church. PUHLEEZE. LeAndria should sat down, “be” ministered to, have her baby, and make sure her issues are resolved before standing before God’s people to lead any type of worship! Strange Fire will not do in the house of the Lord…thus is the issue with the church at large today. HOLINESS IS STILL RIGHT UNTO THE LORD…AND WITHOUT IT “NO ONE” WILL SEE THE LORD… Let’s do the Book people…not emotions and “talent!”

I strongly agree with Oxymoron> Leandria needs to focus more on having her baby and resolving her issues with God. True, while it has been said by several of Leandria’s fans that “nobody is perfect”‘ “judge ye not”, and oh, here’s the puncher, “he who is without sin,cast the first stone” sure all of those scriptures are great and well qouted by so many but at the same time, holiness is still right. how can you minister to me about serving Jesus and you’re pop belly pregnant? that is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen! no one is saying that mistakes does not happen because obviously, they do. it’s when you continue to make mistake after mistake after mistake knowing that you are in the role of a christian. I guess at this point we just sit back and wait for the next apology. After a while, they begin to loose their value.

My job is not to judge because there’s only 1 judge and 1 lawgiver. But I will say this, music ministry like any other ministry is serious business and as a minister of music it needs to be treated as such and handled with care. It is more important now more than ever to be an ambassador of Christ and an example of purity and righteousness before the people. You have an obligation to set the stage for holiness. You are accountable for the people you minister to. You have been given the ability to positively or negatively affect people. So watch your walk. God has counted you worthy to carry out this task. He would not have given you the job if He knew you couldn’t have an affect on people so strong that demons would flee, the lame would walk, sickness would be healed, the people would get saved, folks would be delivered, set free, that shackles would fall, and chains would be broken. This wonderful gift and ability God has given you is not to be taken lightly. You are my sister in Christ and I love you and I will continue to stand as Nehemiah on the wall praying for you. Be encouraged, love God with all your might, and ministry to not just the people but to yourself until the Spirit of God fills every space there is. Be blessed.

her music touches and speaks to me. She is real and her story and life struggles speaks through her music; which reach a wide array people. Leandria’s music can bring people to God, and let people know that even Christians are still works in progress, and as her song says her story continues; despite her short comings.

I think we all need to remember that this woman is under contract, so it might not have been as easy to just “sit down” as we all may think. The girl is working for BIG MAN Matthew Knowles for goodness sakes. Do you really think he cares if she is pregnant or not? She might have been forced to continue on?? Who knows? Maybe she WANTED to sit down so she wouldn’t embarrass herself. We really don’t know. If she didn’t continue, maybe she gets sued for everything she has and she felt that she couldn’t handle that w/ 3 kids and all. We have to take this into consideration. Now, everybody here can say that they’d rather get sued for the sake of not mocking God and the saints if it was them, but it’s easier to say that when they’re not in her shoes. Nobody really knows what goes behind the doors in those recording industry meetings. I do agree w/ you that she should sit down because she is not making Christianity look good at all.
I have more to say, but you pretty much said what I feel. However, I’m conflicted because I love hearing her speaking and singing voice but I just don’t agree w/ certain things she says when she’s behind the mic nor do I agree w/ some of her lifestyle. That’s just me.. I’m not saying she would agree w/ MY lifestyle either, but I’m just saying.

Being that she is under contract, she probably felt that she couldn’t just sit down. Especially while taking care of 3 kids. Remember, she works for BIG MAN Matthew Knowles (who is the father of Beyonce). Do you really think he cares if she was pregnant or not? He probably didn’t.. but who knows? To ME, it’s obvious he didn’t because he would have made an exception concerning her situation and cancelled her live shows and such.
We really don’t know what goes on behind those record industry meetings. Let’s think about this, if she decided to break her contract and cancell her singing appearances, she would have gotten sued for practically everything she has including those socks and flip flops she had on during her Sunday Best audition… she probably felt she didn’t have a choice mainly because she’s taking care of 3 kids. Now, it is EXTREMELY easy for us to say, “well, I would have just been sued because I don’t want to mock God or the saints”.. I believe that’s easier said than done.
Now, I’m conflicted because I DO agree w/ you that she should be sat down, however, I am also trying to see this from the business side of things. I also don’t want potential believers thinking this is the way Christians act. We say one thing, and DO another. I’m conflicted because I LOVE her speaking and singing voice, but I just don’t agree with some of the things she says in the mic nor do I agree w/ some of her actions. She always talks about how so “real” she is… I hate it when people say that for reasons I will keep to myself.

Oh yeah… I just want to mention that I also am a student and Le’Andria had recently hinted on her twitter page that she is not happy with her label. She kinda wants to leave and have her OWN label.. but maybe when she can she can just go to some other label first before having her own.
She must be prayerful and know what she’s doing if she’s going to have her own label.
