From their inception in May of 2016, the Chicago based ensemble has quickly made its impact on the gospel music industry with a distinct sound rooted by the anointed singing and songwriting skills of its leader, Nate Martin. Martin, who draws inspiration off the musical repertoires of gospel music icons such as: The Clark Sisters, Andrae Crouch & The Disciples, Pastor Charles Jenkins, and the Late Rev. Clay Evans, credits these legends in aiding with the group’s appealing and energetic approach to minister through song with a unique multi-generational and multi-dimensional flair that bridges the gap between millennials and previous generations.
Credited as the protégé of world-renowned gospel legend Pastor Charles Jenkins, Martin has made it his mission to ensure that quartet-style Praise & Worship music remains a relevant source of influence within the gospel music industry. The group’s ability to appeal to mass markets has not only forwarded to work with Chicago gospel legend, Pastor Charles Jenkins; but grace stages with the likes of multi-award winners such as Karen Clark Sheard, Leandria Johnson, and The Walls Group.
As an independent artist, Martin has earned two Eddy Award nominations, winning the Eddy Award for Digital EP/Album of the Year entitled for the project entitled “S.I.G.N. Language” in 2020. After 5 years of dedication to his dream and the influence of his mentors Pastor Charles Jenkins and the Late Rev. Clay Evans, Martin is answering the call from his hometown fan base for a long overdue appearance, creating buzz within the industry for this to be the event of the Gospel music summer season.
