Purpose is the reason for which something is done or created or it is the reason why something exists. Christ followers believe their reason for existence is to live a full life on earth in worship to God with life in eternal Glory thereafter. While we walk out our lives here on earth, the process of purpose takes its many turns of turmoil and triumphs. The process of purpose requires faith. Singer and songwriter Chris Liverman offers a song to encourage our faith as we journey in our purpose.
Passionate about music and ministry, Liverman made his entry into the music industry by releasing his first single “And I Will Say” independently in 2020. Shortly after, he partnered with Revival Music Company to release “Joy of Life”. His new single is “Purpose” which is an encouraging musical journey that starts intimately smooth and transitions into an infectiously soaring experience.
“Purpose” was written by Liverman and co-written by Terrance Howell, Jesse Wood, and Stuart McCloud of Revival Music Company.

“Purpose is a song about believing that God will take the bad things that life throws our way and work them for our good,” says Liverman. “Romans 8:28 states: And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. It’s sometimes hard to hold on to that truth when we encounter difficult things in life, but my prayer is that this song will bring hope and encouragement to those walking through tough times right now.”
“Purpose” is available on all digital music outlets and is impacting Gospel radio now. Liverman has also released the official music video for “Purpose” on his YouTube channel. The video is directed by Grant Hart and chronicles individuals navigating life situations. Although uncertain at moments, Liverman confidently sings and prays each scenario through to a victory in Christ.
Just as the video depicts, Liverman desires to inspire and uplift every listener, reminding them of God’s faithfulness. Liverman has served as a Worship Leader and Youth Choir Director for several ministries. He takes pleasure in serving his local church and creating soothing musical experiences with lyrical depth and purpose.
