Hezekiah Walker, Jonathan McReynolds, William McDowell-3 Wins at Dove Awards!-Entertainment One

img_6090Entertainment One (eOne) celebrates 3 Dove Award wins for Hezekiah Walker, Jonathan McReynolds, and William McDowell, encompassing a wide scope of styles from traditional and contemporary gospel/urban, to urban worship at the 47th Annual GMA Dove Awards.

 

Held in Nashville last night, Hezekiah Walker won the Dove Award for his #1 hit anthem “Better” in the category of Traditional Gospel Recorded Song of the Year.  Jonathan McReynolds and William McDowell each celebrate career-first wins – with McReynolds winning the Dove Award for his inspiring hit “The Way That You Love Me” in the category of Contemporary Gospel/Urban Recorded Song of the Year – and McDowell winning the Dove Award for his chart-topping album Sounds of Revival in the category of Urban Worship Album of the Year.

Honoring an incredible year in chart-topping Christian/Gospel music, Gospel Hall of Famers Shirley Caesar and Hezekiah Walker presented awards on the main show.  Jonathan McReynolds also took the stage to perform “The Way That You Love Me” on the awards show, and Todd Dulaney presented and performed “The Anthem” on the pre-telecast.

 

The 47th Annual GMA Dove Awards will air on the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) on Sunday, October 16th, 2016.
