Back in the Fall, GI Member and BGA School of Music President/CEO Branden Anderson announced that his music and performing arts school, BGA School of Music, was partnering with Ratcliffe Elementary School, a school in the Henrico County School’s District, to offer students music courses in piano, drums, dance, and music theory. The program was such a success that it is now expanding to (3) additional schools: Glen Lea Elementary School, Laburnum Elementary School, and Wilder Middle School. BGA is now teaching over 300 students. Branden says, “To God be the glory for the things He has done. We are excited to continue and expand our partnership with Henrico County Public Schools. Our team of experienced teachers and performers will pour everything they have into this blossoming generation. When BGA started in 2010, it was our dream to one day infiltrate the public school system and here we are. Music is such a gift and we will ensure that every student in this program succeeds not only on stage, but in life.”
