Bryan Wilson Featured In Christmas Musical with Yolanda Adams, Donnie McClurkin & Marvin Sapp

Washington, D.C. – Gospel veteran Bryan Wilson will act and perform in Evangel Cathdral’s annual Broadway-styled Christmas production, “Christmas Celebration 2010.” The production features a cast of 200, live camels, laser lights, and performances from gospel superstars Yolanda Adams, Donnie McClurkin, and Marvin Sapp. For tickets or other info, visit www.evangelchristmascelebration.com .

“I’ve been wanting to get back into acting,” says Wilson who once performed in a production of Purlie Victorious and a gospel stage play with Dorothy Norwood. “So, this musical has given me an opportunity to refreshen those skills and the director, Minister Rhonda Belt, has become one of my mentors.”

Wilson’s latest radio single, “Everybody Clap Your Hands” recently peaked at #38 on the Nielsen BDS Top Gospel Songs survey. As he prepares to release his next CD in 2011, Wilson now has a smooth jazzy rendition of the hymn “I Need Thee” available for digital download on iTunes, Amazon.com, Rhapsody, Napster, and other online music portals.

Time Life Music’s $2 million TV commercial campaign for the best-selling CD, “Shoutin’ Down The Aisles,” that features Wilson’s tune, “If You’re Talking About Jesus.”  Wilson is also featured on Time Life’s forthcoming “Today’s Greatest Gospel Anthems” CD that will be released in March 2011.
