Battle of the Gospel Bands TV show will soon be coming to Network Television. The Production Team Led by Director Joshua Coates is rumored to be in talks with ABC family and CMC Country Music Channel  with the help of their partners Media Fusion for a 2013 prime time television debut. He is also the show’s co-creator, show runner and producer and is also set to spear head the project that will begin filming in Philadelphia sometime this year. Partners and Co-Creators Mario Steele and Kevin Skinner are also among the Production staff.

Other producers include Mark Lipksy Executive Producer of classic films such as Coming to America, Nutty Professor, Beverly Hills Cop 3, Vampire and Brooklyn Another 48hrs Harlem Nights and the Arsenio Hall Show, also David Garfinkle producer of  Broadway Musicals Spiderman Turn off the dark, Ghost and most recently Love Lies. Producer and Pastor, Veryl Howard and Brad Frank complete this dynamic production staff along with Sheilah Belle, The Belle as Publicist.

This show hopes to impact the Church World Globally as Gospel Bands Compete for funds to impact their church and surrounding community cash prizes and a recording contract. The  website will be available soon for bands to register.

Currently there are five confirmed judges including Deitrick Haddon, Martha Munnizi, Marcus D. Wiley, Pastor Veryl Howard and Joann Rosario Condrey.

Now here’s how the show will work. Through online registration, thousands of Contestants (Bands & Solo Artists) will have the opportunity to upload video submissions for their chance to be selected.  We will then follow our celebrity judges individually to the state of their choice from the bands selected for a surprise visit to reveal to the bands that they are the ones chosen to represent the community and church for cash, prizes and a recording contract.
