Algeron Wright Collabs With Gospel Industry Friends Angie Spivey, Kevin Bond, Lowell Pye and Izzy On New Project

algernonThe most important people to us on this earth are family and friends.  The love, fellowship and kindred spirit of those closest to us should be celebrated often and singer, songwriter Algeron Wright is doing so through music.  Algeron has brought together a few friends to collaborate with him on his newest release ALGERON WRIGHT LIVE WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS available now via Central South Distribution.

The South Carolina native set out to record LIVE WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS with the mission of bringing together a group of individuals dearest to him.  His desired to come together in one place to celebrate music and lift up Jesus was also done to remind people that Family and Friends are so important and that we all need somebody.

Stepping to the mic with Algeron on this project are gospel industries most noted:

Angela Spivey (“We Bless Your Name”) “Angela Spivey has always been one of my favorites from the time of ‘In the Church’, ‘ So You Would Know’, and my favorite ‘These Thorns’,” Algeron shares.  “I also wanted someone on this project that could sow into my life with words of wisdom.  She was originally to be my host for the event, but God had a different plan and at the last minute she was given a song and of course, she killed it!”

Dr. Kevin Bond appears on the project and is the King of proclaiming words of hope, faith and Jesus through words.  “I’ve always admired his work and his ministry.  Today I am honored to call him friend,” expresses Algeron.

Izzy (“No Other Reason”)  “This Guy is BAD!  He has awesome vocals, powerful anointing and humble spirit,” Algeron explains.  “He is also a close friend and prayer partner and I knew I needed someone like that on this project. Izzy is a big brother to me.”

Lowell Pye (“I Believe”)  “I chose Lowell to be on the project not just because of his gifts, but because of his spirit,” Algeron articulates.  “I had this song that kind of reminded me of the John P. Key sound and of course, Lowell was perfect for the song,” he continues.  “Lowell has taught me so much about music and the industry and he offers his time and knowledge to me freely.”

Thomas Wright (“Ready To Serve”)  “I am such a huge fan of this young man and he is my brother,” Algeron states.  “Thomas has a voice out of this world and I wanted to support and push him as much as possible.   I chose him to do ‘Ready To Serve’ because I knew that he would bring such an ease to that song, and he did just that.”

Eartha Wright (“Down Memory Lane”) “Eartha is my mom! She has been singing since before I was born, so I had to put her on this project so she can show me how it’s done,” Algeron expresses.

Rev Curtis Young  (“Down Memory Lane”) Curtis Young is a family member who is a former Air Records artist with his Group The Five Singing Sons.   Curtis has always been a mentor to me and offers wisdom about music and ministry.

D’vine (“Been So Good”) “D’vine is my former group and I wanted them on the project because we were ending our time singing together as a group,” Algeron explains.  “I wanted to pay tribute to them, so we did one last event as a group. My sister, Valencia Wright is also in the group.”
