Lonnie Hunter And Structure Take Over Hard Rock Café For Inspirational Soul Sunday

Nationally Syndicated Radio Host and Stellar Award Winning Recording Artist Lonnie Hunter, featuring Structure, gave the performance of a lifetime at the Hard Rock Café in Philadelphia. Lonnie, whose nominated for three Stellar Awards this year, along with Structure, were invited to perform at the Hard Rock Café as a part of their Inspiration Soul Sunday event.

According to Lonnie, “IT WAS AN HONOR TO BE ASKED TO BE THE FEATURED PERFORMER AT A PLACE LIKE HARD ROCK CAFE…. PRIMARILY BECAUSE IT WAS FOR BREAST CANCER AWARENESS AND THAT WAS THE FIRST TIME A GOSPEL ARTIST HAD BEEN ASKED TO BE THE TALENT.”

By performing at the event Lonnie and Structure made history as the first Gospel Act to perform at the venue.  However, the event itself was bigger than just a performance, as a portion of the proceeds were donated to two serious causes. The purpose of the event was to benefit Woman Against Abuse and raise Breast Cancer Awareness. Cancer affects millions every day, whether directly or indirectly, and especially hit close to home with Lonnie.

“THIS CAUSE IS IMPORTANT TO ME BECAUSE MY MOTHER PASSED FROM CANCER AND MY SISTER IS A CANCER SURVIVOR,” says Lonnie.

The performance Lonnie and Structure delivered was amazing! This was the first time I had the opportunity to experience them live and I was extremely far from disappointed. The vocal ability of each individual member of Structure blew me away, including Lonnie himself. The group went through a medley of their songs, some old, some new and few personal favorites.

Always the comedian, Lonnie kept the packed crowd laughing and entertained throughout the show. Between songs he would interact with the crowd, making everyone feel welcome. Even those who weren’t there specifically for the performance couldn’t deny being entertained. During serious moments of the show Lonnie ministered to the crowd and gave his insight on a few life lessons.

It was during the serious moments that we learned there was a Cancer Survivor in the audience. She had an amazing spirit and told Lonnie that he is her inspiration. She then took the mic and gave her praise with a few riffs and runs of her own, to which the crowd gave a standing ovation. Lonnie gave her, and everyone else who knew someone with Cancer, a book called “Cancer Made Me Beautiful.”

The performance came to an end as Mona, a member of Structure, tore down the house by leading an awesome, powerful performance. She had the packed house standing and applauding for most of her performance. Overall, I was very pleased with the event, and honored to have the opportunity to attend such an inspirational gathering.

My developer is trying to persuade me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using WordPress on various websites for about a year and am anxious about switching to another platform. I have heard good things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can transfer all my wordpress content into it? Any kind of help would be really appreciated!|

I was wondering if you ever thought of changing the page layout of your site? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or 2 images. Maybe you could space it out better?|
