Interview: Anthony Brown Talks Formation of group therAPy, Touring w/ Mary Mary, Debuting at #3, Bobby Jones Gospel, and Much More

uGospel was blessed with the opportunity to interview one of the hottest artists in Gospel music this season, Anthony Brown of Anthony Brown & group therAPy. We’re excited about this interview because we’ve been waiting to chat with the man that everyone’s been talking about lately. From his days of arranging vocals and writing hits for some of your favorite Gospel recording artists, to having one of the most praised album release concerts this year, Anthony Brown is doing his thing.

His self-titled debut project, “Anthony Brown & group therapy”, debuted on Billboard at #3, which he admits surprised him, but you’ll have to listen to the interview to find out why. Click the link below to hear us talk about everything from him being rejected by Donald Lawrence (long story) in the past, to now being the opening act for Mary Mary’s upcoming “Go Get It” Tour and performing on Bobby Jones Gospel.
