Funny Video: “Take Me To Burger King” By Darlene McCoy
Recording Artist and ATL Praise 102.5 Radio Host, Darlene McCoy, literally had our staff in tears after seeing her version of Tamela Mann’s “Take Me To The King”, from her upcoming sophomore album, on YouTube. Usually, when someone in the Gospel industry does a remake of a song, it has the same title, lyrics and so on. However, Darlene put a fun twist on this special remake.
Darlene’s twist was to make the remake a parody, titled, “Take Me To Burger King”. Sounds hilarious already right? Well the title isn’t half as funny as the actual lyrics in the song. Check out the video below and prepare yourself for a good laugh! Hopefully this isn’t the last video we’ll see from Darlene. I can see her doing parody’s of popular songs to make a funny compilation album. Kind of like Nephew Tommy’s Prank Call Series.
