Deitrick Haddon Uses Twitter to Defend Preachers of L.A., “Preach The Word and That’s All”

deitrick-haddon-pastors-of-la-reality-show-the-jasmine-brandOxygen’s reality show, “Preachers of LA” seems to be the topic of many sermons, and social media conversations, lately. In light of the never ending debate over the show, Deitrick Haddon, one of the stars of the controversial series, used social media to speak out against pastors who preach against “Preachers of LA”. Check out Haddon’s tweet below:

“If your pastor’s message is all about #PreachersofLA this Sunday I recommend that you find another church. Preach the word & that’s all! lol”

However, the gospel singer was open to criticism regarding his comment. JoAnn Williams Handy disagreed with him, responding, “@DeitrickHaddon That’s NOT a reason to go to another church if that’s where GOD placed for that season.”

Haddon replied by simply writing, “Amen…”

Why is so much negative attention being given to the Preachers of LA; people have the right to like or dislike the show. Let them make their own decision. Preacher’s have more important topics to discuss on Sunday mornings!

I do agree with D H. As a radio announcer/minister. I myself find it a little strange. The top church leaders say you must do what the word says. Then they come up with. You must have common sense or that don’t mean that. When Jesus and Paul says it is written. There are no suffancant bishops in the bible, How can a woman be the husband of one wife/ bishop. You see we need real help. WHY DOES A CHURCH HAVE TO BE HANDED DOWN IN THE FAMILY. tHE FAMILY MEMBER MIGHT NOT WANT TO BE SAVED.

My prayer for Derrick, me, and all christians that we are in the will” of God. God Word is “not” up for debate or to justify our ways (whether right or wrong)–the Word speak for it self.
“And be not conformed to this world; but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God”.
