ChicagoMassChoir

On Saturday, May 3rd, Chicago Mass Choir made history when they returned to Chicago after 10 years for their 16th Live Recording. Throughout the live recording, Chicago Mass Choir pushed forth with dynamic harmonies and vocals on every song under the musical direction of award winning producers, Percy Gray, Jr. and Jeral Gray, Sr.

Faithful attendees were surprised as a few new lead vocalists took the stage, along with veteran singers, Lemmie Battles, Felica Welch, Patricia Clifton and Dr. Feranda Williamson.

Chicago Mass Choir’s 16th Live Recording was just the launching pad for a chart topping project soon to be released by this remarkable musical force. Chicago Mass Choir President, Dr. Feranda Williamson expressed her excitement about the support received and their 16th Live Recording:

“I was so humbled by the overwhelming support that we received from the people of the City of Chicago.

There was standing room only in the sanctuary and it was amazing how overall, those in attendance stayed until the end!  It has been over ten years since we recorded in Chicago and to see our supporters at “home” felt great. We have been blessed with songs that will encourage all of God’s children.

Yes, we will always continue our traditional base, but through praise and worship and even contemporary songs, our message of “hope” will continue to be the theme through our music ministry.  I am blessed to have an anointed team of producers, singers, musicians and directors who understand the true meaning of giving their “reasonable” service to God.”
