Prez Blackmon is best known as half of JDI Records contemporary gospel duo Renee Spearman & Prez. His cd Dr. Bobby Jones presents Renee Spearman and Prez – He Changed Me debuted at #13 on Billboard Top Gospel Albums Chart and received a Stellar Award Nomination in 2010. Prez is also known as a lead vocalist at Bishop Noel Jones mega church City of Refuge.
Prez has recorded background vocals for Mary Mary, Dorinda Clark Cole, Kurt Carr, Yolanda Adams & Gladys Knight. He has provided live background vocals for many artists – including Josh Groban, Beck, VaShawn Mitchell, Jonathan Nelson, Byron Cage, Karen Clark-Sheard, Mavis Staples and Sting.
