What if you had the opportunity to share news of how your debt was instantly cleared by one person? Would you use every opportunity to share this with others or keep it to yourself?

Gospel artists are afforded this opportunity daily, while singing, traveling and recording new music. No matter the city or venue, Gospel artists are honored to share the Greatness of God to others through lyrics, music and interactions. New Gospel artist Corey Barksdale, is also one who counts it a privilege to declare that Jesus Christ is Lord through music and ministry.

On, March 28th, Corey Barksdale debuted the song “You’re Irreplaceable” on Rejoice in The Word on The Word Network, which speaks of Jesus’ matchless presence and power in our lives and that there is no one like him.

Barksdale expressed how there is no comparison to Jesus Christ in his life, “My mother sacrificed her dreams for my education. My best friends gave their last dollar to make sure I wasn’t hungry. But Jesus is the only one who gave his life to save my soul. He’s Irreplaceable!”

In celebration of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, many are sharing the mighty works of Jesus Christ and his irreplaceable presence in their lives. On Resurrection SundayApril 20th, Corey Barksdale will worship with Bishop William Hudson III and Prayer and Faith Outreach Ministries in Chicago, IL, 944 W 103rd St. As the guest Psalmist, Corey will celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ during Prayer and Faith Outreach Ministries’ 8am and 11am services.

Corey Barksdale makes it known and praises God for the sacrifice made for his life and works hard to communicate this through music and lyrics.

“As light is to darkness, so is Christ to my sins. He made it all disappear, I’m grateful. I’m thankful to God for sending his son, I’d be dead if he didn’t save me. The writers gave Superman a weakness because he’d be too much like Jesus without it. Jesus is real and He lives. My music will always represent a strong, risen and victorious savior.

I love Jesus and He definitely loves me! He proved it when he saved my soul! He saved my soul, I owe Him! I would’ve been dead, but Jesus saved me! We have to thank God for the blood, we have to praise Him! His blood was not in vain, I’m safe, I’m victorious and I’m saved!”
