Fred Hammond and Israel Houghton Nominated for the 46th Annual Dove Awards

Announced yesterday, Fred Hammond (RCA Inspiration) and Israel Houghton & NewBreed (RGM/NewBreed/RCA Inspiration) are among the nominees for the 46th Annual Dove Awards. Five time Grammy®-winner Israel Houghton is nominated for Traditional Gospel Song of the Year for “How Awesome Is Our God” featuring Yolanda Adams and for Gospel Artist of the Year.

Legendary gospel artist and fellow Grammy®-winner Fred Hammond is also nominated in the Gospel Artist of the Year category and scores a nod for Contemporary Gospel/Urban Album of the Year.

Hammond and Houghton are both nominated for work on their latest releases. Hammond’s twelfth solo album, I WILL TRUST, was released in November 2014. Houghton’s 10th album COVERED: ALIVE IN ASIA was released on July 24, 2015.  The 46th GMA Dove Awards will take place on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 in Nashville, TN and will air on TBN on Sunday, October 18, 2015.
