Charles Butler & Trinity Debut At #2 On Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums Chart With Sophomore Project “MAKE IT”

unnamedAnointed Sounds Records and Washington, D.C. based contemporary gospel group Charles Butler & Trinity are celebrating the success of their sophomore project MAKE IT (Anointed Sounds/eOne). The project debuted on three Billboard charts placing at #2 on the Top Gospel Albums chart, #12 on the Top Combined Christian & Gospel Albums chart, and #42 on the all-genre Top Independent Albums chart. Released on June 3rd, Butler & Trinity’s hit album also made an impact digitally with the album hitting #2 on iTunes Christian/Gospel Albums chart, and made a Top 5 debut on Amazon’s Hot New Releases in Christian Music chart.

Additionally, social media went into a frenzy when a video was posted on Facebook ofCharles Butler passing the mic around to some of his industry friends singing the vamp of his hit song “Amazing Worth” at his CD release concert in D.C. One of Gospel’s leading menEarnest Pugh, rising singer-songwriter Travis Malloy, Sunday Best All-Star finalistTerrill Hall, and D.C. based artists Andrea Dumas, Debra Moncrief and Leah Clark-Leach (of JJ Hairston & Youthful Praise) all shared in the moment. In a little over a week, the video has amassed over 2.4 million views, 52K shares and over 7K comments.

The 10-track new album is available now in stores and online everywhere. The album includes the Top 40 radio single and title-track “Make It” featuring Jeremiah Hicks, along with “Bless Your Name” featuring Coko of SWV, “Today” featuring Brittney Wright, “Jesus Reigns” featuring Maranda Willis, “Great & Mighty” featuring Travis Malloy andAryka Moncrief and “The Blood” to name a few. The album is produced by GRAMMY winner Daniel Weatherspoon.
