Carol Maraj, Mother of Nicki Minaj, Prepares to Launch Gospel Singing Career

 

According to reports, Carol Maraj, mother of controversial rapper Nicki Minaj, is planning to launch a singing career in Gospel music. No word yet on Maraj signing to a label or releasing an official album, but she is headlining the “God’s Been Good” Concert at St. Anthony Baptist Church in New York City. The concert takes place Saturday, November 23^rd and tickets for the show can be purchased at the door. Audience members will get to see the Trinidadian vocalist raise awareness for social causes she supports via the Carol Maraj Foundation.
