Bishop Samuel Blakes Lands in the Top 50 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Airplay Chart with Debut Single “God Wants To Hear From You”

BishopSamBlakesJust two weeks after celebrating news of being one of February’s most added songs gospel music lovers are saying loud and clear that they love to hear Bishop Samuel R. Blakes’ dynamic debut single “God Wants To Hear From You” as it lands in the Top 50 on the BDS Gospel Airplay chart this week.

As the lead single from his forthcoming debut album I SURVIVED, “God Wants To Hear From You” – available now at iTunes – is conquering hearts with its impassioned vocal performance and organ-lined melody. And, while earning thumbs up from critics and fans alike for its musical composition, Blake – the Senior Pastor of New Orleans and Baton Rouge’s revered New Home Ministries – is earning his fair share of acclaim for the song’s moving lyrics that tell of God’s longing to connect with His children.

The song joins many-a-soul-stirring number set to line I SURVIVED, including the Dave Hollister-assisted “Things Will Work Out” and “Scars” featuring legendary, Stellar-award winning gospel music legend Bishop Paul S. Morton.
